Born in Sutton Coldfield on 23rd October, 1976, Cat Deeley was to become one of the most profesional presenters on television.
She was spotted by modelling agency whilst filming a BBC show at 14 but refused any contracts until she had gained her 9 GCSEs which were all A's and her she studied A-Levels and passed with A's.
After travelling the world modelling, she began work on SMTV and CDUK. Then MTV followed in 2000. CD:UK was her main show. She presented this for almost 7 years and has only just recently resigned from the show.
Her first major primetime series was on Stars in their Eyes. Then after this, she switched she BBC1 to present Fame Academy. The biggest show of her career to date was the charity celebrity spin off Comic Relief does Fame Academy in March 2003 which had record ratings. She filmed Comic Relief does Fame Academy again in 2005 and Cat's best friend Edith Bowman won.
She hosted Stars in their Eyes Kids right after series 1 of Comic Relief does Fame Academy in April/May 2003. Fame Academy was then recommissioned and returned to the BBC from July to October 2003.
Kylie Live from hammersmith apollo, The Royal Variety Performance 2003 and Record of the Year 2003 were all hosted by Cat along with the Brits 2004. In 2004 she continued to host CD:UK as well as Stars in their Eyes Kids/Celebrity and the 2005 series.
With just 7 years in television, she has certainately gone on to proove herself as one of the most professional and one of the most recognisable presenters in the UK.
